Sugaring?
Sugaring is a relatively painless, affordable, and long-lasting Brazilian hair removal method. Forget about shaving or regular waxing that causes irritation, ingrown hairs, and razor bumps. Waxing removes live skin cells alongside dead skin cells and unwanted hair, causing unnecessary pain and irritation. You can visibly see the damage from waxing to the skin under a Wood’s lamp. The reason why waxing became so popular is that it requires far less skill. You can be very unskilled and still remove hair because the wax will rip off (or at least break) the hair.

- Sugaring uses only natural ingredients. The preparation is 100% natural, containing only water and sugar, with no chemicals, fragrances or coloring. It is hypoallergenic, causing no skin irritation. It is so natural that a sweet-toothed person can even eat it! Waxing is made of resins and often toxic chemicals as well. These ingredients are often irritating, if not toxic, to the skin.
- Sugaring paste is applied at body temperature and will not burn your skin. Hot wax must be heated to a high temperature in order to become liquified, which can cause burning and scarring.
- Sugar paste can be cleaned up easily with water. You will never leave a sugaring treatment feeling sticky. Since wax contains resins, chemical solvents are required to remove its residue.
Skin-friendly kind of hair removal
Sugar cannot adhere to live skin cells. This means less discomfort for you and less trauma to your skin. Sugaring does remove dead skin cells – so as the hair is removed, your skin is also getting exfoliated! Wax has been known to remove more than just the hair, since it can adhere directly to live skin cells, which makes waxing more painful and irritating. Wax cannot be applied to an area more than twice at the most.
Sugaring paste is naturally hypoallergenic
Sugaring Paste is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. Sugar naturally helps control cross-contamination and bacteria cannot breed in the tub of sugar. Cross-contamination in a waxing room is always a danger, especially since bacteria will breed inside a tub of wax.

I scheduled an appointment for Friday and and got so lucky that there was an available spot. (Most places are booked Fri-Sun) . I was so impressed that they were able to take me last minute upon my appointment I received confirmation and after that I received a follow up call the next day, letting me know that I’m able to come in earlier than my schedule time which worked out perfectly. Upon arriving, I did have a bit of a direction issue, but I was called and reassured that I was in the right location upon walking to the studio. Everything looks beautiful! If you are a girly girl like me you’ll love the pink theme!!! It’s very sweet and gorgeous; a real dollhouse! Tish was the sugarista who took care of me and she did a wonderful job. She was patient kind and very skilled in her work. I had booked a full Brazilian wax (sugar ) and a vagacial. Not new to sugaring but maybe my 3 or 4th vagacial and she did amazing. Top tier. She took her time with the extraction process which was painful yet she did her best to make it comfortable and as quick as possible! The music was great too just overall an amazing experience!
